Milenna Echegaray Gomez, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practicer

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I graduated from Duke University School of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2025. My clinical background includes over four years of clinical experience in both the Emergency Department and outpatient settings, allowing me to work with a wide range of mental health concerns and patient needs.

I use a holistic, individualized framework to psychiatric care, believing treatment should consider the factors that shape our mental health and overall well-being. That said, I look not only at symptoms, but also at life experiences, goals, and current circumstances. I use a collaborative approach with patients to develop treatment plans that are practical, evidence-based, and tailored to individual needs.

My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD. During our sessions, you can expect a space where you can speak openly, ask questions, and be an active part of your treatment. We’ll take the time to talk through what’s going on, discuss your options, and find an approach that makes sense for you. I welcome people of all identities and backgrounds and strive to create a space where patients feel respected, understood, and comfortable showing up as they are.
